Delivery Information

  • All our designer eyewear come’s with a branded case/hard case and branded micro fiber cleaning cloth.

  • All our standard prescription frames come with a case/hard case and a premium quality micro fiber cleaning cloth.

    📦 Packaging & Carriers

    We use trusted carriers such as Royal Mail. All orders are packed with care and are dispatched using recycled materials and can be easily recycled after use.

    🌍 UK Shipping Policy

  • We offer free Royal Mail Tracked 48 delivery on all our UK orders over £50.

    UK orders under £50 require a £3.75 postage charge for Royal Mail Tracked 48.

  • Delivery times are subject to availability, payment authorization, verification and processing.

  • Delivery within 48 hours business days after dispatch, subject to Royal Mail. Delays may occur.

  • Your order will be sent out via your chosen delivery method and you will receive your Royal Mail Tracking number with your completed job invoice by email so you can keep track of the delivery progress on www.Royalmail.com/track-your-item

  • If you are not home when Royal Mail attempts delivery they will leave a card telling you how and where to pick it up or re-arrange re-delivery.

    🌍 International Shipping Policy

  • We proudly ship worldwide from the UK! We use Royal Mail Tracked services with some countries requiring a signature upon delivery. Once your parcel has left the UK it will be handled by your local delivery service.

    ✈️ Delivery Times after dispatch for all orders exclude any potential customs delays/delivery delays/unforeseen circumstances which may occur. Royal Mail aims to deliver in the below time frames -

    •     Europe: 3–5 business days

    •     Rest of the World: 6–10 business days

  • The delivery times for out-of-stock items may differ from other products. Any expected delays will be clearly displayed at the time of purchase for each product.

    You’ll receive tracking details once your order is dispatched.

    💸 Customs & Duties

  • All orders are sent (DDU), Delivery Duties Unpaid. International orders may be subject to customs duties, taxes, or import fees once they reach your country. These charges are the responsibility of the customer so please check with your local countries restrictions and customs and duties office for any possible charges prior to ordering. Tailored Optical does not have any control over these charges as customs policies for each country change frequently.

  • If you refuse to pay these charges and the parcel is returned to us, we will refund the order minus any shipping and return fees incurred.

    🔁 Returns

  • We accept returns within 14 days of delivery for UK/ 30 days for international orders. Products must be unused and in original packaging. More details can be found on our Returns Policy page.

    Please note:

    • Return shipping costs for UK and International orders are the customer’s responsibility and we strongly recommend using a tracked or signed for service.

    • Original shipping costs are non-refundable. A refund will be issued up to £15 on return postage if the item is deemed faulty.

  • We aim to dispatch orders on the same day (Monday-Friday Excluding Bank Holidays), if the order is placed before 3pm for non-customized, prescription stock lenses and frame only orders. Orders can be placed 7 days a week but shipping only takes place Monday - Friday via Royal Mail.

  • Please allow between 3-10 working days (excluding weekends and bank holidays), for prescription lens orders depending on lens type, lens coatings or high index lenses as these may take longer to arrive from lens manufacturers as being a more specialized and custom item. We will keep you updated throughout the whole process.
